(smoke rings)

My third collaboration with Ali Momeni, this project also involved the participation of artist Matthew Brackett.  This piece is a four-chambered computer-controlled smoke ring generator.  The video above represents documentation of a working prototype.  We later developed the piece into a final form entitled Smoke and Hot Air. It has been exhibited in Ghent, Belgium at the Almost Cinema Festival 2009, and in Gijon, Spain at the Laboral Centro de Arte y Creacion Industrial.
